Abstract

ABSTRACT Lutfi Hidayat, 2015; Effect of Work Environment and Job Satisfaction on Organizational Commitment in TIKI Branch Office of Youth. Thesis, Jakarta: Concentration in Human Resource Management, Management Studies Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this study are: 1) To determine whether there is influence between the work environment to the employees' organizational commitment operational TIKI Branch Offices Building, 2) To determine whether there is influence between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of employees operational operational employees TIKI Branch Offices Building, 3) To determine whether there is influence between the work environment and job satisfaction together for operational employees TIKI Branch Office of Youth, 4) To find out how big the contribution of the working environment and job satisfaction on organizational commitment of employees operating TIKI Branch Office of Youth. Research conducted on 95 employees TIKI Branch Offices Building, East Jakarta. Data collection techniques using a survey method that is spreading questionnaire which is then processed with SPSS 21.0 program. This research uses descriptive and explanatory analysis. Results of regression showed that there is a positive and significant influence among the working environment on organizational commitment, there is positive and significant correlation between job satisfaction on organizational commitment. Working environment and job satisfaction simultaneously positive and significant impact on organizational commitment to the value of F count> F table (43.931> 3.11) and significant (0.000 <0.05). R2 values of 0.477 or (47.77%). This shows that 47.77% of organizational commitment is explained by factors working environment and job satisfaction while the remaining 52.30% influenced or explained by other variables.
