Abstract

NUZULA RAHMA DEWI, 8105150716, The Influence of Motivation and Organizational Commitment on the Performance Employees of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk in The Project of Mandiri University Type A in West Jakarta. Script. Jakarta: Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of motivation and organizational commitment on the performance of employees of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk in the project of Mandiri University Type A in West Jakarta. This research was conducted for approximately 2 months starting from May to June 2019. The research method used in this study was the survey method. The population in this study were Wika employees in the project of Mandiri University Type A. The sample used in this study was 65 employees with a proportional random sampling technique. Performance variable data (Y) is performance data obtained from monthly data, namely June 2019. Motivation variable data (X1) and Organizational Commitment (X2) are primary data using the Likert scale model. The data analysis technique in this study used SPSS 24.0. The F Test results in the ANOVA table produce F count of 51,703 > F tables of 3.15, this means that motivation and organizational commitment also have a positive effect on performance. The t test produces t count X1 6.889 > t table 1.998, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between motivation and performance. Then t count X2 3,556 > t table 1,998, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between organizational commitment to performance. Based on the results of data analysis, the multiple regression equation Ŷ = 31,981 + 0,390X1 + 0,202X2 is obtained. The coefficient of determination test obtained R2 value of 0,625. So that the ability of the motivation variable and organizational commitment to explain performance simultaneously is 62,5% while the remaining 37,5% is influenced by other variables.
